The life of your filter depends on how often you run your air purifier and the air conditions in your home, however we still recommend you change them every 3 months
Once the new filter is in, plug in and turn your air purifier back on. Then, press and hold the filter reset button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep!
Replace the bottom cover so that the arrows are aligned like this.
Remove the dirty filter and replace it with the new filter
The filter is located inside the bottom of your MyAir air purifier. To access the filter, grip the handle on the bottom cover and twist clockwise to the unlocked position and remove the bottom cover.
Your BISSELL MyAir personal air purifier has a 3-in-1 filter that we recommend you change once every 3 months. In this video we'll walk you through how to change the filter, so your machine stays in tip-top shape.
Including your model number in your email assists our agents in helping you faster. Not sure where to look?
On machines it’s on a white label like this. It’s usually on the lower back or bottom of the machine (for Lift-Off® models, remove the Lift-Off pod to find label) or behind the cleaning tanks.
On cleaning formulas the model number is actually called an item number. Look for it on the back of the bottle or can, near the bottom.
The filter absorbed gases to its maximum capacity.
When the filter absorbs gases to its maximum capacity, it may produce a dusty odor.
We strongly recommend a replacing the filter when indicated (please check specific indications for your purifier model in the user manual).
Do not clean, wash or vacuum clean this filter.
The pre-filter is dirty
Your Philips air purifier might produce an unpleasant smell when the pre-filter (C in the image above) is dirty.
The pre-filter can (and should) be washed monthly. Please check the user manual to know how to wash the pre-filter for your specific model (for some purifiers you may need to wash it under the tap and for others you may need to vacuum it).
