Moscow, Sputnik news agency & radio, March 28-Russian National Technology Group announced on March 28 that it has designed an improved version of "Amulet" bullet-proof vest with an enlarged protection area for engineers.
The news said: "The Tula' Octava' factory of Russian technology group expanded the product line of' Amulet' bulletproof vests and improved the equipment for humanitarian demining engineers. The new bulletproof vest is characterized by a special structure, which increases the area of bulletproof tablets and is light in weight, with a total weight of no more than 5 kg. "
According to Pavel Pavlenko, general manager of Octava, the new body armor was developed to meet the needs of humanitarian demining professionals.
He said: "In the design of the improved bulletproof vest, we try our best to consider all the characteristics of the work of the EOD personnel, and additionally strengthen the protection of the neck and lower body while maintaining mobility. The bulletproof vest is currently undergoing a series of tests and will be put into production after confirming its performance. "
